Technology Tips: Online Course Announcements Email List
Every day, Monday through Friday, there are course announcements with reminders about deadlines and other important class information. You can see the announcements displayed at the course website and in the Ning and in Desire2Learn - but you can also subscribe by email. For this Technology Tip, you will subscribe to the Announcements Email List (you can unsubscribe later, if you prefer not to get the emails).
If you are already subscribed, skip to Step Three!
STEP ONE: Subscribe. To subscribe, click on the Email Subscription Link and enter your email address.
STEP TWO: Confirm. You will receive a confirmation email (if you use OU email, it may go to your "junk"' folder, so be sure to check there also). Click on the link in the confirmation email to start your subscription.
STEP THREE: Forward email. You should get your first course Announcements email the day after you complete the subscription and confirmation process. When you get an Announcements email, FORWARD that email to me, changing the subject line as follows: TechTip Announcements.
When you have sent in the email, you can do the Gradebook Declaration for Extra Credit. Here is the text of the Gradebook Declaration you will complete:
