Technology Tips: Firefox Web Browser

Firefox is a browser that works for BOTH Windows AND Macintosh computers, unlike Internet Exploder (only for Windows machines) and Apple Safari (only for Macs). So, for the purposes of this class, the only technical support I can provide is for the Firefox browser. You are not required to use Firefox, but several of the Technology Tips depend on having Firefox installed on your computer.

STEP ONE: Install Firefox. To install Firefox, just go to the Firefox website and follow the instructions there. If you need some help, check out the Firefox Installation Help Pages.

STEP TWO: Send screenshot. You need to take a screenshot that shows the Firefox browser running on your computer, and send that to me via email - and, just out of curiosity, please let me know if you already had Firefox installed on your computer, or if you installed it for the purposes of this Technology Tip. Here are the instructions for taking a screenshot. Make sure you use this subject line: TechTip Firefox.

When you have sent in the email, you can do the Gradebook Declaration for Extra Credit. Here is the text of the Gradebook Declaration you will complete:

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

I have completed the Technology Tip assignment and sent the instructor an email as required.
