Week 7 Assignments
This week you have the usual reading/storytelling assignments, and then next week (Week 8), will be a review week, with no new reading. So, enjoy the reading this week, and I hope you will find some really good material to use for your own story.
I would also urge everybody to take a look at the Tech Tip options available this week and every week. If you have not seen all the different possibilities there, take a look: you can learn how to add new features to your blog, how to optimize your use of Canvas, along with all kinds of other useful tricks and tips. Here's the list: Extra Credit Tech Tips. You can do one for Week 7, and you can also just keep on going and do a whole bunch of them if you want, doing the Declarations for Week 8, Week 9, and so on. All those Declarations are open and available to you in Canvas right now. :-)

Here are the Notes guidelines plus all the different Reading Notes Strategies to experiment with. Now that we are at the half-way point of the reading assignments for the semester, take a look back through your notes posts to assess your work so far. Can you tell which notetaking strategies are helping you the most with your writing? Are your notes too long? Too short? Based on what you have learned so far, you can now start to optimize your reading/notetaking approach.

These extra credit options are here to help with managing your grade, but they are also meant to help you expand and extend your learning in this class, based on your own interests. So, if you have not done any extra credit options so far this semester, I would urge you to give that a try and see what new things you can learn! See Week 2 Extra Credit for details.
