Tech Tips: Diigo Browser Extensions

To do this tip, you need to have first set up a Diigo account. Then, the most efficient way to use Diigo is by installing a browser extension. That way, you can bookmark any webpage with a simple click or two.

1. Install the extension. The specific instructions vary based on the browser you are using: Diigo Tools. You can use the Chrome extension or the all-purpose bookmarklet that works in any browser. (You can also integrate Diigo with social media sites, and it has IFTTT recipes also, if you use IFTTT).

2. Bookmark with the extension. You should now be able to bookmark quickly. In Chrome, I just right-mouse click on any webpage to add the bookmark.

If you are using the Diigo bookmarklet in Firefox, click on the bookmarklet in your bookmarks toolbar, and then click bookmark.

For the post title, use "Tech Tip: Diigo Browser" and use "Tech Tip" as the label on the post. In the post, report on your experience: what type of browser do you use? and were you able to install the extension/bookmarklet and start bookmarking successfully?

After you've posted, you can do the Declaration. And keep on bookmarking!
