Word Counter for Chrome

If you are doing a lot of browser-based writing (as you will be for this class), then having a word counter in your browser is really helpful. The Chrome word counter I use is called: Word Count Tool. I'm sure there is something similar if you use a different browser!

STEP ONE. You can install the extension from this Chrome page: Word Count Tool.

STEP TWO. After you have installed the extension, you will be able to highlight any chunk of text on a page or in a text box, and then right-mouse click to access the extension in the context menu.

Then, the results will appear in a pop-up box:

And check out the developer's website: WordCountTools.com. you might find other things there you like!
