Make sure you do the GoogleDocs Tech Tip first, before you do any other tips this semester.
Using Google Profile is a great way to establish your identity on the Internet and to make it easy for people to search for you. For example, here is my Google Profile. Because I am using Google+ (Google's new social network), you can also see my Google+ posts there on one of the tabs at my Profile.
STEP ONE: You need to be logged into your Gmail or other Google service. Then, just go to Google Profiles. You will see a Create My Profile button to help you get started. Depending on your type of Google account, you may or may not be prompted to enter information on a first screen, such as your first and last name, before creating the actual profile. You can choose to answer as many or as few questions as you want. You can also add links to any websites, blogs, etc., that you want to include.
STEP TWO: When you are done, save your work. Then, copy and paste the webpage address for your profile into an email and send that to me. Make sure you use this subject line for the email: TechTip Google Profile.
When you have sent in the email, you can enter this tip on your GoogleDocs Checklist and then do the Gradebook Declaration for Extra Credit. Here is the text of the Gradebook Declaration you will complete:
