The Names of Your Characters

At least some of the characters in your story will have names. To get your creative juices flowing, you might enjoy using a random name generator to try out lots of possible names in order to see what grabs you and gets your creative juices flowing. Just Google "random name generator" and you will find many websites that will generate random names, including some really sophisticated tools that will let you specify different nationalities, time periods, etc. You can also see the most commonly used American names decade by decade at the Social Security website.
