Just as characters need good names, stories need good titles. Have you given your story a good title? It's definitely worth spending some time to find just the right title - something catchy and original, unusual, but not too unusual, so that the title is both revealing but also intriguing, promising something but without giving the whole story away. You can practice your skill at making up titles for things by making up your own titles for stories and books and movies. Even when a movie has a really good title to begin with, see if you can think of a title that would have been even better.
