Technology Tips: Adding a new page to your Google Site
This counts as a Tech Tip ONLY if you are using Composer or some other web publishing software for your Storybook. This does not count as a TechTip if you are already using GoogleSites to do your Storybook project.
Here is how to add a new page to your Google Site: Adding a GoogleSites Page. You can choose whatever kind of content you want for this page:
- an "About Me" page, telling more about yourself
- a page about your major or a school project, or a community project you are working on
- a page about a great movie, or you favorite band, or your favorite TV show
- a page containing a recipe or a write-up about your favorite local restaurant
- etc.
Make sure that the page you add to your GoogleSite contains text, at least one image, along with image information containing a link to your source for the image.
To complete this assignment, you need to have added at least one additional page to your Google Site, so that there is a homepage and a second page, with both of them appearing in the left-hand navigation panel. When you are done, send the address of your Google Site to me in an email. Make sure you use this subject line for the email:
TechTip Google Site: Additional Page.
When you have sent in the email, you can do the Gradebook Declaration for Extra Credit. Here is the text of the Gradebook Declaration you will complete:
