Project Nominations

This week, instead of leaving comments for people, you will be choosing your favorite Storybooks and Portfolios. You will nominate your favorites, and then, after all the nominations have come in (Monday noon), I will tally up the nominates and create a ballot with the most-nominated projects for voting on next week.

That ballot will be just for fun, not for a grade or anything. Think of it as a way for the hard-working writers in these classes to get some extra recognition for their good work! The ballot will be ready on Tuesday, April 21, with voting on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (until 5PM), and then I can include the results in the class announcements on Friday, April 24.

Except for me, nobody has read all the Storybooks and Portfolios - but don't worry: that's the whole idea behind these nominations! If we pool the collective responses of everybody to the Storybooks and Portfolios that they have read individually, that should yield a good ballot.

This assignment has TWO PARTS

PART ONE: NOMINATIONS. In Myth-Folklore, you will be nominating THREE favorite Storybooks and TWO favorite Portfolios. In Indian Epics, you will be nominating TWO Storybooks and TWO Portfolios (the class is smaller than Myth-Folklore).

Please take your time as you decide on your choices, and you will probably find it hard to choose! Visit the Storybooks and Portfolios that you might not have looked at in a while, and you might even want to visit some projects you have not seen so far. When you are ready to make your choices, you need to paste in the URL (webpage address) of your favorite Storybooks and Portfolios, so you might have them open in a separate browser window as you fill out the form. Here are the lists of projects for each class:

Myth-Folklore Projects —  Indian Epics Projects

Google Form. There is a Google Form for each class where you can submit your nominations. Please use the form for the class you are enrolled in: Myth-Folklore OR Indian Epics

PART TWO: DECLARATIONAfter you have filled out and submitted the Google Form, you need to do the Week 13 Internet Declaration as usual to receive your points. If you are already done with the class, you don't need to complete the Declaration but it would be great if you completed the Google Form to nominate your favorites!

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

I entered my Storybook nominations and my Portfolio nominations.
