Week 14: Course Evaluation & Comments for Future Students
On Wednesday of Week 14, APRIL 25, the College of Arts & Sciences should have made available the End-of-Semester Evaluation form available online at eval.ou.edu. The online evaluation is completely anonymous, and those anonymous results are not shared with the instructors until after the semester is over. For this assignment, you need to log on to eval.ou.edu. You are not required to fill out the course evaluation; you can leave it blank (just as people sometimes left the paper class evaluations blank) - but I really hope you will choose to fill out the evaluation both for this class and for your other classes.
For ONLINE COURSES, your feedback is especially valuable. The comments I get from people each semester always help me to think of ways to improve the class - plus, the College of Arts & Sciences also relies on your evaluations to develop the online course program as a whole. The main reason the online course program exists is because students find a positive value in being able to take courses online, and the College of Arts & Sciences definitely listens to any ideas you have about how to improve the online course program in general. Online courses are still something very new at OU, and any feedback you have about how to improve the online course program is much appreciated.
IN ADDITION, I keep a blog area where you can leave comments for next semester's students, offering them tips or advice; you might remember look at this blog of Comments and Advice at the beginning of this semester. If you want to leave a comment for next semester's students with your advice, that would be GREAT - please feel free to do that! Anonymous comments are fine; just type your comment in the comment box provided here. Like the course evaulation, leaving a comment at the blog is optional, but your input is much appreciated. If there is anything you wish you had known from the beginning of the semester, please share that with next semester's students! :-)
Then, when you are done, fill out the Gradebook Declaration in Desire2Learn.
