Ning: Paste as Plain Text

If you are copying and pasting into the Ning editor from a Microsoft document or from a webpage, or if you are using Windows as your operating system (which can be very invasive when it comes to cutting-and-pasting), you might find it very useful to use the Paste as Plain Text option which is now available in the Ning editor.

Here is how it works:

1. Copy the content you want from a webpgae or document.

2. Click on the T-Box in the top menu bar of the editor (just to the left of the paper-clip icon):

3. This will pop open a plain text box where you can paste your content; all the formatting will be stripped out automatically. Then click OK and the contents of the box will appear in the blog post box. You can now proceed to format your text as desired.
