Make sure you do the GoogleDocs Tech Tip first, before you do any other tips this semester.
Google+ is a social network that Google launched in July 2011. I have really been enjoying Google+ for academic networking. Many of my friends and colleagues at other schools around the world are using Google+ to interact and share ideas. Back when I used to have an office in Kaufman Hall, I always kept my door open - and to me, Google+ feels kind of like my old office in Kaufman. The door is open (i.e., most of what I post is public), so you can see my Google+ posts here. You can search for other Google+ users and see the posts that they, likewise, have chosen to make public.
To complete this Tech Tip, you need to go to plus.google.com and get signed up. Then you need to create some kind of post, and share that post with Public as the audience. Then, you need to send me your Google+ address so that I will know you have completed this tip. To find your Google+ address, just click on the "Profile" button in the main menu, and that will take you to your posts; copy and paste the address of this page and send it to me. I will only be able to see the post(s) you have marked as public - that's why you need to have posted at least one public post for this to work.

Make sure you use this subject line for the email: TechTip Google Plus Post. If you want to circle me, you can do that - but it's not required for this assignment by any means. What I really like about Google+ is how it can be a public space, but also a private space, based on how you choose to organize your circles. :-)
When you have sent in the email, you can enter this tip on your GoogleDocs Checklist and then do the Gradebook Declaration for Extra Credit. Here is the text of the Gradebook Declaration you will complete:

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
