Make sure you do the GoogleDocs Tech Tip first, before you do any other tips this semester.
There are lots of avatar-creation sites online, and a fun one is the DoppelMe website. Got to the DoppelMe website and you will see a display of the kinds of avatars you can create here. For this Tech Tip, you will create your own avatar! This actually does look like me! :-)
STEP ONE: Go to the DoppelMe website and click the Create link to get started. Go through the steps of configuring your avatar. (The greyed-out options are the ones you can access later if you decide to register at the site, but you don't need to register for this Tech Tip; there are lots of options to choose from without registering.)
STEP TWO: When you reach the final screen of options that you can complete without registering at the site, right-mouse click on the avatar you have created it and download it to your computer.
STEP THREE: Send me an email with your avatar image attached. Please use this subject line: TechTip Avatar.
When you have sent in the email, you can enter this tip on your GoogleDocs Checklist and then do the Gradebook Declaration for Extra Credit. Here is the text of the Gradebook Declaration you will complete:
