Tech Tip: Make a LOLCat at Cheezburger

For this Tech Tip, you will make a LOLCat (or some other meme) using the LOLBuilder at the ICanHasCheezburger website. LOLCats are fun to make - and if you are having trouble finding the perfect image to use for a blog post in this class, you can create an image instead! There are lots of options at ICanHasCheezburger... it's not just about cats, I promise. :-)

Step One: Go to the LOLBuilder at the ICanHasCheezburger website. You can make a LOLCat with a cat image, or you can choose from any of the other kinds of images they have available, or you can even do some other kind of meme — there are lots of options there. When you find the image you want to use, click the thumbnail to select it.

Step Two: You can just type in the lines of text you want and use left-center-right to position them on the image. To choose different font size and colors, click on the "Font Settings" link at the bottom of the third text box.

Step Three: When you are done, just right-mouse click your image to save it to your desktop.

To finish up, create a blog post and include your image in the post, along with a link to the Cheezburger website. Make sure to include a phrase like "Tech Tip Cheezburger" in your blog post title somewhere and also use "Tech Tip" as the label on the post; then you can do the Declaration.
