Technology Tips: Google Sites Navigation Options

You have three basic site navigations in Google Sites: navigation sidebar panel on the left, sidebar panel on the right, or a horizontal navigation bar that goes across the top of the page just below the main site title. For this Tech Tip, please review these detailed instructions about site navigation options and then choose which option is best for your website. Make any changes to your website as necessary. In addition, please make sure you disable both the site map and the recent site activity display options (you will find that included in the instructions).

Finally, take a screenshot and share it at the discussion board. There is a Ning discussion board where you can post Tech Tip items by "replying" to the discussion board: Tech Tips Discussion Board: Google Site Navigation. For this Tech Tip, you need to post a reply which contains the screenshot you took of a page at your website showing the navigation choice you made. Then, after you are done, you might enjoy taking a look at the navigation designs that people might have shared there, and you can make replies to their replies if you want of course.

When you are done, you can enter this tip on your GoogleDocs Checklist and then do the Gradebook Declaration for Extra Credit. Here is the text of the Gradebook Declaration you will complete:

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

I have completed the Technology Tip assignment following the instructions provided.
