INDIAN EPICS Extra Credit Essay 

For this extra credit essay, instead of focusing on the characters and stories in the epics, you can step back and think about reading, writing, and learning in general. Click here for the list of ESSAY TOPICS for you to browse and choose from. You can choose whatever topic you want from the list, but note that some of the topics have "prerequisites," topics you need to have already done first. Some of the topics, like analyzing the cartoons or inventing your own punctuation mark, can be repeated as often as you want.

Title. You need to include the words "Extra Essay for Week ___" in the title you give to the post, along with a title for your actual essay (for example, "Extra Essay Week 2: English is a PUNderful Language," etc.).

Length. Your essay post needs to be a minimum of 300 words long (maximum 1000 words). Make sure you do a spellcheck and a word count, and that you proofread your post by reading it out loud.

Image. You are required to include at least one image with the essay (yes, for the cartoon essays, the cartoon can be your image!), along with a link to the webpage where you found the image, plus information about the image, such as a caption, identity of the artist if known, etc.

Checklist. Make sure you include the proofread-spellcheck-wordcount-image checklist at the bottom of your post.

When you are done, complete the Gradebook Declaration.
