Fake Twitter
Twitter creates its own kind of communication style, and you can use this Fake Tweet Builder to create a fake Twitter exchange that you could include as part of a story in this class, or use just for fun.

STEP ONE: Go to the Fake Tweet Builder (or use any other Twitter generator you want; there are all kinds of faux-social-media tools that you can find). You will need to invent the characters' names who will appear in the exchange, and then type out their Twitter dialogue. Remember that tweets can only be 140 characters long! Then, you can also choose avatar images for your characters, too.
STEP TWO: When you are done, click the "Create Twitter Thread" button. If you like the results, right-mouse click on the image and save it to your computer. Here's how mine turned out:
FInishing Up. To finish up, create a blog post with the title Fake Twitter Tech Tip, and include your Twitter image. If you used a fake twitter generator that is different from Fake Tweet Builder, let me know which one you used! Here is my sample blog post. You might want to use the "Tech Tip" label so you can keep track of all your Tech Tip posts. And then, don't forget to do the Gradebook Declaration!
